Do not share sensitive health information in a regular email. After first contact, we use a secure channel.

Secure email communication

Ventefri uses Office 365 Message Encryption (OME) in Microsoft 365 to protect exchange of health information and other sensitive data.

How it works

  • You can contact us through regular email first. Please do not send health data in that initial message.
  • When sensitive information is needed, we move the conversation to encrypted email.

What an encrypted email dialogue looks like

    You receive an email notice that an encrypted message is waiting for you.

  2. 2

    You click a secure link.

  3. 3

    You authenticate (for example with a one-time code).

  4. 4

    The message opens in a secure web portal.

  5. 5

    You can reply directly from the portal.

  6. 6

    Your response is encrypted on the way back to us.

What this means for you

  • Health information is not sent unencrypted.
  • Only authorized recipients can access the content.
  • The dialogue remains encrypted across the full conversation.
  • No software installation is required.
